I was eager to try a bra holster, and the Flashbang bra holster seemed like the gold standard. Unfortunately, the weight distribution and physical strain of carrying a firearm in this manner proved impractical for me.
The constant pressure on my shoulders was uncomfortable, and I noticed visible wear and tear on my bras, which was a costly consequence.
But it isn’t all bad. Some really like it, and it seems to all depend on the size of your frame.
Carrying in your bra (which you probably wear every day, anyway) doesn’t get much more practical. That said, this doesn’t work in every outfit. After all, you need to be able to get your gun out of your bra. This is impractical if you’re wearing something like a dress with a higher neckline.
The draw stroke also significantly differs from traditional holster draws, requiring substantial practice. I found it to be difficult to draw my Sig P365XL from my holster in certain positions safely. I am considerably faster with my purse and usually don’t use a bra holster unless I have no other option.

Arrowhead Tactical Rose Carrier Joggers

I’m very impressed with the Arrowhead Rose Carry Joggers. My husband purchased a pair of their men’s shorts, and I later caught on that the same company has a women’s line.
They’re (very comfortable) sweatpants that you can conceal carry with. Typically, carrying in sweatpants is impossible since they offer no support. With these, the waist includes loops for a hidden belt that supports any holster that I want to use.
The fabric is soft and breathable, making them wearable in warmer weather. The tapered fit is feminine and different from what Arrowhead typically sells.
But that’s not my favorite part:
These joggers work with compact to full-sized handguns in IWB holders in any position. I can put the holster wherever it is comfortable for me and carry practically any handgun.
You’ll need a retention belt, though, which does increase the price. Still, you only have to buy the retention belt once, and then you can use it for any Arrowhead product.

I know I’ve already talked about the Arrowhead joggers, but the company’s shorts are just as good! Being able to carry in regular gym shorts is impossible, and when it is hot my belly band is not so comfortable. These are the perfect solution.
The fabric is breathable and water-resistant, making it perfect for warmer weather. I’m surprised by the amount of airflow these shorts allow.
My favorite part?
All the pockets! There are multiple (men-sized) pockets that actually fit my phone.
Just like the joggers, these shorts require a retention belt. They also allow me to use my regular IWB holster and provide the support that regular shorts don’t have.
