After testing over 20 different holsters, we found the best Walther PDP holsters. Our favorites include the Harry’s Holsters Infiltrator, KSG Armory Lexington, and the Hidden Hybrid Holsters Single Clip.
I have personally carried the Walther PDP concealed daily for the past nine months. I also trained with these holsters at the range and during my dry-fire practice sessions.

We have over 25 years of experience with holsters and concealed carry. I have always been a fan of Walther handguns and usually buy the new models when they are released. I bought the PDP just after it was released, and of course, I needed to find a good holster.
I am pretty sure I found the best ones.
I keep reading to find out what I have learned and why I like the ones I have chosen. Also, check out our full concealed carry guide!

Best Walther PDP Holsters
Harry’s Holsters Infiltrator IWB – Best IWB
- Type: IWB
- Material: Kydex
- Walther PDP Models: 4″ and 5″
- Return Policy: 30 Days
- Warranty Policy: Lifetime
- MSRP: $97.75
The Harry’s Holsters Infiltrator IWB Holster is one of the best Kydex IWB holsters we have found for the Walther PDP. It works great in the appendix position but can also be adjusted to work in the 3 o’clock and 5 o’clock positions.

It has a unique, rounded design that I don’t usually see in other Kydex holsters. Most other holsters are flat with harsh edges, especially around the bottom near the muzzle. The infiltrator does not have any edges. All of them have been rounded, which creates a much more comfortable design, especially when sitting or bending over.
The belt clip is the DCC Monoblock, a metal clip that secures it to my belt better than any other clip. You will see more holsters with this clip below, and there is a good reason, it is one of the best. This is important, especially for heavier guns like the PDP. I want my holster to stay in the same place and not slide around as I move.
The Infiltrator also has a unique way the clip attaches to the holster. Instead of just holes or slots, it has square nuts that fit into a channel. This allows me to loosen the screws and slide it to adjust both the ride height and the cant angle.

It ships with the clip separate and comes with a QR code with a link to a full setup video that is very helpful. It even comes with a tube of Vibratite, which is much better than Loctite.
The retention is adjustable as well. I can just turn a screw to get it how I like it, secure but not so tight it slows down my draw.
Another feature that I really like is the concealment wing. Most other holsters come with a claw that pushes against my belt and keeps the grip of my handgun closer to my body. This holster has a similar feature, but instead, it is molded into the Kydex and is not a separate piece.
I find that the claw on other holsters can get hung on my belt as I put it on. This one is rounded and has a gradual slope at the bottom. This makes it much easier to put on as it just pushes my belt out of the way as it slides down.

The only downside to this holster is it doesn’t support weapon-mounted lights (WML). I would have also liked some spare screws and nuts since I always seem to drop them.

KSG Armory Lexington Holster – Most Concealable
- Type: Appendix
- Material: Kydex
- Walther PDP Models: All
- Return Policy: 60 Days
- Warranty Policy: Lifetime
- MSRP: $80.00
The KSG Armory Lexington appendix holster is one of the most concealable holsters we have used with the Walther PDP.

There are a few things in particular that this holster has that most others don’t that helps with concealment.
I like the options of the seven different belt clips I can get. I tried the DCC monoblock, DCC dual clip, and belt loop straps.

Since the PDP is a heavier gun, it is important to have a clip that holds well and doesn’t move around as I move. I found the DCC dual clip was the best for me. I like the monoblock version for smaller guns since it is easier to take on and off, but the dual clip option is more stable and secure.

The adjustment holes in the holster allowed me to adjust the ride height and the cant angle to the right position that fits me best. This is also important since everyone is shaped differently (and some of us change shapes as time goes by!)
Vibratite is also included, so I didn’t have to worry about finding my tube when tightening the screws.
I also like the optional foam wedge for better concealment. Since the PDP has a larger grip, it is harder to conceal. I found this option pushes the grip of my gun closer to my body and keeps printing through my shirt to a minimum. Even with a thin T-shirt.
Plus, the wedge keeps the bottom of the holster away from my body, making it more comfortable.

There are also three different concealment claws available. I tried all three and found that they all do a good job of helping to keep the PDP concealed. I like the Modwing since it is fully adjustable, but the Dark Wing was also good since it has a sloped design that made it easy to take on and off.
The only real downside to this holster is the lead time. Since they are custom-made, they can take up to 70 to 90 days. I got mine in about 30 days, so the wait wasn’t extreme. They also do not support weapon-mounted lights (WML).

Hidden Hybrid Holsters Single Clip – Most Comfortable
- Type: Appendix
- Material: Hybrid – Leather and Kydex
- Walther PDP Models: 4″, 4.5″, and F 4″
- Return Policy: 30 Days
- Warranty Policy: Lifetime
- MSRP: $89.95
The Hidden Hybrid Single Clip holster has to be one of the most comfortable holsters I have used with the Walther PDP.

Since the slide of the PDP is wider than most other concealed carry handguns, carrying it in the appendix position comfortably is not an easy task.
The hybrid design of this holster is what makes it so comfortable. The Amish-made leather backing has a suede finish that makes it soft and breathable. The rounded edges of the leather eliminate skin irritation, and the surface area (which is larger than a Kydex holster) distributes the pressure of carrying it. I nearly forget that I have it on sometimes.

The Kydex shell is custom-made for the PDP and retains it just as well as a full Kydex holster. The retention is adjustable with the turn of a screw.
The polymer clip is designed so I can tuck my shirt in behind it if I want, a feature that most other appendix holsters don’t have. However, this clip is not as tight on my belt as some other metal clips, and it does allow the holster to move around a bit. I have not really noticed it moving much, though, during a normal day.
I like that this holster has an optional concealment claw. I find it is needed with the PDP and I have it on mine.

A unique option that is also available on this holster is a “doghouse” as part of the Kydex to protect a red dot optic. I have not seen this in any other holster. For mine, I chose to have the doghouse removed since I tested out so many different red dots and they all wouldn’t fit.
They also support weapon-mounted lights (WML)!

CYA Supply Holsters – Best Budget
- Type: IWB
- Material: Kydex
- Walther PDP Models: 4″ Only
- Return Policy: 30 Days
- Warranty Policy: Lifetime
- MSRP: $59.74
CYA Supply has three levels of holsters for the PDP: the Base, Ridge, and Path.

The Base is the entry-level holster and has the fewest features. I recommend against this holster since the PDP is a larger handgun, and I felt it does not conceal very well.
The Ridge holster is a step up, includes a concealment wing, and has an adjustable clip. This holster is a good compromise between features and price.
The Path is their top-of-the-line holster and has even more adjustability, plus a few more added features. Plus, the price is still better than most others.

The Ridge is a good option if you are looking for a budget holster. It has a very low profile, which is welcome since the PDP is a wider pistol.
The DCC monoblock clip is one of my favorites. It has plenty of adjustments for ride height and cant angle. The concealment wing is also adjustable, which is not typical in most holsters in this price range.
The Path holster includes a unique concealment wing with a tapered design, which makes it much easier to put on.

Our only negative is that the bottom of the holster has some edges that can cause irritation when bending a certain way. While I can’t feel it all the time, I do notice it if I am lifting something heavy, for example. I would prefer the holster to be a little longer and the edges rounded.
CYA Supply’s shipping time has always been super-fast. I often receive my holsters in just a few days.

The CYA Supply Ridge holster is for anyone looking for a budget appendix holster for the PDP. All three options are cheaper than most others.
Stealth Gear Ventcore – Best OWB
- Type: OWB
- Material: Hybrid
- Walther PDP Models: 4″ Only
- Return Policy: 30 Days
- Warranty Policy: Lifetime
- MSRP: $129.00
Stealth Gear makes one of my favorite OWB holsters, which conceals very well under an unbuttoned shirt or jacket.

This holster is a hybrid design, with a unique breathable fabric backing and a Kydex shell. The Kydex retains the PDP perfectly while the backing conforms to the shape of my body.
What makes this holster stand out is the flexible design between the belt loops and the holster.
Rigid Kydex OWB holsters with rigid belt loops can be uncomfortable. When I tighten my belt to hold the holster securely, the loops dig into my hip.

The belt loops on the Stealth Gear holster are attached to wings that can move separately from the main Kydex holster. This eliminates the rigidity of fixed loops, which can cause pain. It also allows the holster to really hug my body, while other holsters do not.
I also like that the belt loops are clips that I can take on and off without removing my belt. This is especially nice when I am traveling.
The main issue I have found with the holster is keeping the screws tight. They all need Loctite (or my favorite, Vibra-tite) since some do not fully tighten. Over time, they can loosen and fall out. Spares do come with the holster, so I have been able to replace mine.
When I received the newest design of this holster, the wing material is different and I noticed that the edges were fairly sharp. When dry firing, I hit my fingers on them when my draw wasn’t just perfect. I took a small file and rounded them off and it is not as noticeable now.

Hidden Hybrid Holsters Double Clip – Best 3:00 IWB
- Type: IWB and OWB
- Material: Hybrid – Leather and Kydex
- Walther PDP Models: 4″, 4.5″, and F 4″
- Return Policy: 30 Day
- Warranty Policy: Lifetime
- MSRP: $89.95
We found the Hidden Hybrid Holsters Double Clip Holster to be the best 3:00 IWB holster for the Walther PDP.

It is a hybrid design similar to the single clip model above. It has an Amish-made suede-lined leather backing with a Kydex shell. This makes it very comfortable to wear, but it still retains a custom-made Kydex holster. Plus, retention can be adjusted with a screw.
The belt clips are attached to the backing, which makes it flexible and allows it to conform to my body. There are a few different clips available, and I prefer the polymer clips since I can tuck my shirt in if I want.
The clips are also adjustable via three adjustment holes on each side. I can adjust the ride height and the cant angle of the holster to optimize my draw.

This holster can also be worn OWB by removing the clips and threading my belt through the loops in the leather backing. It is not the most optimal way to carry OWB, but the option is there.
I found this holster to be the most comfortable way to carry the PDP in the 3:00 position. Concealment can be a challenge though with a thin shirt. I found the grip tended to point away from my body depending on how I positioned it.

Falco Timeless Leather OWB Holster – Best Leather OWB
- Type: OWB
- Material: Hybrid – Leather
- Walther PDP Models: All
- Return Policy: 30 Day
- Warranty Policy: Lifetime
- MSRP: $99.95
The “Timeless Series” is a new line of leather holsters from Falco. Based on customer feedback on their previous holsters, Falco incorporated modern improvements into this new line.

With this new design, they really stepped it up, and it was apparent as soon as I opened the box.
I’ve never seen a holster presented in a box like this. It felt like I was opening something special. But the box is not what makes the holster, after all. (This would be a great gift.)

The Italian leather is amazing, and it is custom-molded to my PDP, just like a Kydex holster. Really, it is the best of both worlds: the feel of leather with the retention of Kydex.
It comes with a cutout for a red dot, just like it should since the PDP is optics-ready.
The holster is double-stitched in areas where it needs extra strength, and the leather is doubled up around the top of the holster so it holds its shape. This prevents it from collapsing, making holstering the PDP positive and reliable.

When I first got mine, my gun was tight in it. This is by design, as leather will shrink some over time. I just followed Falco’s break-in procedure by using a little bit of denatured alcohol and a plastic bag. I let it sit overnight, and it was much better the next day.
I was surprised by how well this holster conceals my PDP under just an untucked shirt. The forward cant and the molded loops keep the grip close to my body. The cant angle is a little more than I am used to, but I was able to draw consistently after some practice.

The only real disadvantage of a leather holster is there are no adjustments. But that is a tradeoff if you like the look and feel of leather.
This is a great-looking holster, one of the best leather OWB holsters I have ever seen.

Tips for Choosing a Holster for the Walther PDP
When I tried all the different holsters for my Walther PDP, I found some important things to consider.
Since the PDP has a wide and somewhat “chunky” slide, some extra thickness must be considered when carrying it IWB.
The slide serrations are aggressive as well, and I found that they can really eat up the inside of the holster. This can also cause the initial draw strokes to drag a bit. I had a few that just felt like something was wrong, but I realized I just needed to break them in more than usual. This is why it is so important to dry fire and train with your holster and not just immediately put it into service.
Here are a few other tips to keep in mind.
- The PDP is thick, so if you plan to carry it IWB, make sure the holster is low-profile.
- Since the PDP is larger and heavier than smaller compact handguns, comfort when carrying AIWB is even more important. Make sure your holster has rounded edges and is adjustable.
- Your pants play a key role in comfort when carrying the PDP IWB. Make sure they are one size larger than you need, and wear them up on your waist, not down below your belly. (If you have a big belly, consider the Hidden Hybrid Double Clip above.)
- A proper gun belt is needed to keep your pants in place. I like the ratcheting adjustable ones that Nexbelt makes. They can be adjusted in smaller increments. See our Best Concealed Carry Belt Guide of our top picks.
- In general Hybrid Holsters are more comfortable, but they are a little thicker than Kydex. If you are looking for maximum concealment, go with a low-profile Kydex holster.
