DPP Titanium Adapter Plate Guide – Helpful Reference Tables

In this DPP Titanium adapter plate guide, we list all of the red dot adapter plates and dovetail mounts the company offers in easy cross reference tables.

Getting the right red dot adapter plate for your handgun can be confusing. Matching up adapters between the handgun and the red dot requires a lot of research and often results in getting the wrong plate.

DPP Titanium makes affordable adapter plates in both Aluminum and Titanium and I have found they work well. But, finding the right one is difficult.

I created this cross reference guide after I could not find one anywhere online. Simply find your handgun in the list and match it with the red dot footprint you are looking for. Be sure to read our Red Dot Footprints Guide first so you understand which footprint you need.

I included adapter plates for optics ready handguns first and then rear sight dovetail mounts for non optics ready handguns.

DPP Titanium Adapter Plates

The list below is for red dot adapter plates. These plates are used to convert the red dot footprint on an optics ready handgun to a different footprint.

Note that some are offered in both Aluminum and Titanium. The only difference is the Titanium is lighter in weight (and more expensive).

Glock Adapter Plates

Keep in mind that full size Glock MOS handguns like the 17, 19, and 34 are different from the smaller 43X/48 MOS handguns.

Smith & Wesson Adapter Plates

These adapter plates are for the optics ready M&P handguns. CORE is S&W’s nomenclature for their optics ready plate system on their full size handguns.

Springfield Adapter Plates

This adapter plate is needed to mount the Holosun K series red dots to the Hellcat Pro.

CZ Adapter Plates

These adapter plates are for the optics ready P10 handgun.

Kimber Adapter Plates

These adapter plates are for the optics ready R7 Mako handgun.

Sig Sauer Adapter Plates

These adapter plates are for the Sig P320 that has the Romeo 1 cut. Note these plate is for the early models of the P320. Be sure to check the pics in the links and compare to your handgun.

RMR to RMSc/Holosun K Adapter

This adapter allows you to mount any RMSc or Holosun K red dot to a RMR footprint handgun.

DPP Titanium Dovetail Red Dot Mounting Plates

These mounting plates are for handguns that are not optics ready.

They use the dovetail that holds the rear sight in place on the handgun slide. To install them, the rear sight must be removed.

When using this method, the red dot will sit up higher on the slide than a handgun that is optics ready.

Since the rear sight is lost, backup iron sights are not possible unless the red dot has a built in rear sight notch. Even then, the handgun will shoot high since the rear sight on the red dot sits up higher than the original iron sight.

Glock Dovetail Red Dot Mounts

These are for any full size Glock like the 17, 19, and 34 that is not optics ready.

Springfield Dovetail Red Dot Mounts

These are for XD handguns that are not optics ready (not the XDM).

Smith & Wesson Dovetail Red Dot Mounts

These are for any full size M&P non optics ready handgun.

Sig Sauer Dovetail Red Dot Mounts

This mount is for the full size non optics ready Sig handguns.

Taurus Dovetail Red Dot Mounts

These are for the Taurus handguns listed that are not optics ready. TORO is Tarus’s nomenclature for their optics ready system on their handguns.

Ruger Dovetail Red Dot Mounts

This mount will allow you to mount a red dot to the Ruger P85/95/97, MK I II III IV IV-Lite, and 22/45.

CZ Dovetail Red Dot Mounts

This mount is for the CZ 75 and 85 models.
